How do Neurotoxins work?

Neurotoxins both intercept the signals between your muscles and brain. When your brain tells a certain facial muscle to contract, the muscle doesn’t receive the message and therefore stays smooth. This means that the wrinkles that come from muscle contractions cannot form.

How long do Neurotoxins last?

On average, Neurotoxins last for around 3-4 months. The product leaves your body gradually. You can maintain your results long term by returning to Klutch Mobile for treatments every three months.

What are dermal fillers?

Dermal fillers are injectable substances that can fill in wrinkles and add volume in areas where you need it. Most dermal fillers today are hyaluronic acid based (e.g., Juvederm®, Restylane®, and RHA®).

Other dermal fillers are bio-stimulatory meaning they stimulate growth of your body’s natural collagen and elastin. These fillers include Sculptra® and Radiesse®.

Hyaluronic acid is already found in your body’s subcutaneous tissue, but it depletes over the years. It works together with your skin’s support system to keep skin smooth and filled in.

When your natural hyaluronic acid fades, dermal fillers can take its place to give you a natural and beautiful look.

Where can I have dermal fillers injected?

Dermal fillers treat nearly any part of the face that needs volume.

This includes:

Nasolabial folds around the nose and mouth

The cheeks

The lips

The temples

Lines around the lips

Marionette lines on the chin

Nose"

How long do dermal fillers last?

It depends on the kind of dermal filler and the area where it’s injected. The dermal fillers in the Juvederm®, Restylane®, and RHA® families typically last 12 -15 months but can last much longer. Radiesse® lasts up to 15 months and Sculptra® can last up to 2-3 years.

Fillers in the lips have less longevity because the lips move more frequently than other parts of the face, and this can make the product dissipate faster. However, you can still expect to get at least 6-12 months of great results with dermal fillers in your lips."

What's recovery like after dermal filler treatment?

Recovery after dermal fillers is quick and easy. In fact, there’s no downtime at all. Your treatment takes only 15-30 minutes, and you can go on with your regular day as soon as you’re done. We do ask that you refrain from exercise for one day.

You might experience some swelling, minor bruising, and redness for a few days, but this resolves quickly. You can use makeup on the treated area as long as you apply it gently.

When will I see Dermal Filler results?

One of the best things about hyaluronic acid dermal fillers and Radiesse® is the instant results: you’ll see the results before even leaving the Elite Dermatology and Plastic Surgery office. However, remember that the initial results are a bit exaggerated due to swelling. Within a few days, the swelling goes down and you’ll see the final results. Sculptra® results require a little patience. Final results will take up to 3 months to see.
